A Message to our Learning Community
SERC recognizes the challenges faced by our learning communities regarding COVID-19. We are committed to providing supports and resources any way we can as we navigate this difficult time. We have learned from the guidance of health officials that social distancing is one of the actions that we can take as individuals to combat the spread of this virus.
Under this guidance, SERC is announcing to our learning community that we are taking the following steps to help ensure that our employees, their families, and the communities that we serve are safe and healthy. The following precautions will be in place until April 30 to follow the Office of the Governor’s guidance.
- SERC will not hold professional learning sessions or meetings in person. When possible, and if the format allows, professional learning sessions, trainings, and meetings will be held virtually. Information regarding those events will be posted on our website, ctserc.org.
- All SERC staff are currently working remotely. If you need to reach us, you may continue to contact us via email or by calling (860)632-1485 and entering “0” or our staffs’ direct extensions. Individual contact information can be found at https://ctserc.org/staff
- For more information on Connecticut’s response to COVID-19, please visit www.ct.gov/coronavirus. You can also call 2-1-1 or text “CTCOVID” to 898211.
On behalf of the SERC Board of Directors, and our staff, we want to thank you for your understanding and patience. We encourage you to visit our website for future updates.
