All students with disabilities have access to choice programs and retain all rights and protections under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). The expectation is that students will be included, regardless of any disability. It is a parental option to place a student with a disability in a choice program. This brochure was developed to assist families and school personnel as they plan for students with disabilities enrolled in choice programs in Connecticut.
