Kate Fioravanti, Interim Director of the Arts Magnet Middle School in New London, has found a great way to engage her students and community on the happenings of an administrator on snow days. When everyone else is sleeping in, relaxing, and enjoying a day at home, what does Kate do?

Kate uses these short videos to stay connected with her students, staff, and community. The videos also serve as a nice marketing tool for the school, which is expanding to grades 9-12.

Arts Magnet Middle School is participating in year 1 of PBIS training through SERC. Videos like these may become an instrumental tool in educating stakeholders in their school expectations and PBIS implementation!
