At SERC and the SERC Foundation, we mourn the devastating loss of so many innocent lives in Orlando. We empathize with the horror of those who were hurt as well as those who witnessed the massacre. Whether it’s socializers at a gay nightclub or students and teachers at a school, everyone is entitled to feel safe everywhere, regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, race, disability, national origin, and religious affiliation. We cherish this diversity among our colleagues, our friends and neighbors, our brothers and sisters, our children, and ourselves—and we value nothing less than full acceptance and love for all. We are keeping the families and the Orlando community in our thoughts during this very difficult time.
