Overview

Analyzing Literacy Data for Tiers of Instruction is a multi-year training and technical assistance project designed to support teacher teams in implementing the Common Core State Standards by connecting assessment data with best practices in literacy.

During the three-year project, grade-level teams administer standards-based assessments, disaggregate and analyze data, and plan differentiated instructional strategies. As schools progress through the project, they begin focusing on vertical alignment between grade levels, ways to improve the implementation of Scientific Research-Based Intervention (SRBI), and teacher leadership of the process. Schools that meet specific criteria will be offered "Model Site" status for the third year.
