Located in Middletown-Connecticut, SERC started its operation in 1969 as a non-profit agency which provides resources, professional development, and a centralized library to educators, families, and community members in collaboration with the Connecticut Department of Education and other partners.
SERC employs approximately 100 people and its employees consist of a range of professionals from Educational Consultants, Team Coordinators, Support Specialists, Project Staff to Front Desk Operation Staff. The Center provides a facilitating, team-based environment for its employees and is proud of a diverse workforce.
SERC posts all position openings online. After viewing the posting(s) of interest, we encourage you to create your applicant profile by clicking the "Start an application for employment" button in order to create a username, password, and online employment application. Once a profile is created, you may easily apply online for each position you are interested in. Subsequent to the closing date, resumes will be reviewed and, if mutual interest is established, candidates will be contacted for an interview. Update notifications are sent throughout the recruitment process and final interview candidates will be notified of by mail when the vacancy is filled.
