The goal of the ECE Initiative is to support early childhood professionals, families, paraprofessionals, and student support services personnel to acquire the knowledge and skills they need to promote the optimal development and health of all young children in Connecticut. SERC strives to achieve this goal through the provision of high quality professional development opportunities, which are varied in order to meet the diverse needs of professionals providing services to children and families, and the dissemination of resources.
