CT ELDS Introductory Training (6 hours)
An introductory level training on the Connecticut Early Learning and Development Standards (CT ELDS). The introductory training is designed to support early care and education providers working across a variety of settings who have little to no background in using early learning and development standards and/or implementing a cycle of intentional teaching. CT ELDS documents and materials are included.
Social Emotional Development using the Pyramid Model (6 – 8 hours)
Issues with behavior in the classroom? Learn how the implementation of this model can positively support children’s learning while incorporating effective strategies to teach children the skills they need for self–regulation. A birth-five, Infant Toddler, and preschool training are available.
Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care (NAP SACC) Program (6 hours)
The Nutrition and Physical Activity Self-Assessment for Child Care (NAP SACC) Partnership is a training and mentoring program designed to help early childhood programs make healthy changes. Participants will receive free books, music CDs and a gift card for completing the program.
